River Gumati

Gumati is the most popular and important river in the Indian state Tripura.
Originated from Atharamura and Longhtorai mountain range near Domboor is 133 kms long and flew over Amarpur, Udaipur, Melaghar, Sonamura town and at last linked to Meghna river in Bangladesh.

The river creates a dam in Domboor lake near Amarpur. The river has its own importance as because it helps many local villagers and farmers to cross the river with their wealth such as important Bamboos and other forest wealth, as some of the villages doesn't have a suitable roads to commute.

Also some new and re-built bridges are now there across some towns and in villages, that helps peoples a lot.
